- 1 cup dill pickle slices
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Drain and pat dry the pickle slices.
- In a bowl, mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Beat the egg in a separate bowl.
- Place panko breadcrumbs in another bowl.
- Coat each pickle slice in the flour mixture, dip in the egg, then cover with breadcrumbs.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the coated pickles in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
- Cook for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Use a paper towel to remove excess moisture from the pickles for better crispiness.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the flour mixture.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the air fryer for 3-4 minutes.
