Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, sugars, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring until just mixed. Fold in chocolate chips.
- Divide batter evenly into muffin cups, filling each 3/4 full.
- Bake for 20-22 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
Notes
- Do not overmix the batter to keep muffins tender.
- For extra flavor, sprinkle chocolate chips on top before baking.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
