Description
A delicious and moist strawberry poke cake topped with fresh strawberries and whipped cream.
Ingredients

- 1 box (15.25 oz) white cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 box (3 oz) strawberry-flavored gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup whipped cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- Mix cake mix, water, oil, and eggs in a bowl. Pour batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool for 10 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, dissolve strawberry gelatin in boiling water. Stir in cold water.
- Use a fork to poke holes all over the cake. Pour gelatin mixture evenly over the cake.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Top with whipped cream and sliced strawberries before serving.
Notes
- Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
- Chill the cake thoroughly before adding toppings.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
