Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 large eggs
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Heat water, butter, salt, and sugar in a saucepan until boiling.
- Remove from heat and stir in flour until smooth.
- Return to heat and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Transfer dough to a bowl and let cool slightly.
- Beat in eggs one at a time until smooth.
- Heat oil to 375°F (190°C).
- Drop spoonfuls of dough into hot oil and fry until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels and dust with powdered sugar.
