- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuits
- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Sprinkle flour over the sausage and stir to coat.
- Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
- Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Cut the biscuits into quarters and place half in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Pour half the gravy over the biscuits, then repeat with the remaining biscuits and gravy.
- Sprinkle cheese on top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
