Ingredients

- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold

- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
- Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add cold water and mix until dough forms.
- Roll dough into a rectangle on a floured surface.
- Spread cream cheese mixture (cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla) down the center.
- Top with blueberries.
- Cut diagonal strips along the sides and fold them over the filling.
- Brush with egg wash.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Keep butter cold for flaky pastry.
- Use fresh blueberries for best results.
- Let pastry cool slightly before serving.
