Description

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 kg potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 500g kale, chopped
  • 1 smoked sausage (rookworst)
  • 100ml milk
  • 50g butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the potatoes in salted water for 20 minutes until tender.
  2. Add the kale to the pot and cook for another 5 minutes.
  3. Drain the potatoes and kale, then mash them together with milk and butter.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Heat the smoked sausage in boiling water for 5 minutes, then slice.
  6. Serve the mashed mixture with sliced sausage on top.
