Ingredients

- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions
- Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.
- In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add sugar and cream, stirring until dissolved.
- Bring to a boil and cook until it reaches 235°F (soft-ball stage).
- Remove from heat, add vanilla, pecans, and salt.
- Stir until thick and pour into the prepared pan.
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

- Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
