- 1 medium head cabbage, chopped
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Add chopped cabbage and cook until slightly tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix milk, sour cream, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Layer half the cabbage in a baking dish, top with half the cheese, then repeat.
- Pour the milk mixture over the layers.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- You can add cooked bacon or ham for extra flavor.
