- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup uncooked white rice
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can (10.5 oz) condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Brown ground beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in rice, cream of mushroom soup, cheddar cheese soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Transfer mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle shredded cheese on top, and bake uncovered for 10 more minutes.
- Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey for ground beef.
- Add vegetables like peas or carrots for extra nutrition.
