Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound Italian sausage
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
- 1 package (16 oz) penne pasta
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Brown ground beef and Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce, garlic powder, oregano, and black pepper to the meat. Stir well.
- Combine cooked pasta with the meat sauce. Mix thoroughly.
- Layer half the pasta mixture in a baking dish. Top with half the cheese and half the pepperoni.
- Repeat the layers with remaining pasta, cheese, and pepperoni.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- Use any pasta shape you prefer.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms if desired.
- Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes before serving.
