Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 package (16 oz) penne pasta
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Brown ground beef and Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add marinara sauce, garlic powder, oregano, and black pepper to the meat. Stir well.
  5. Combine cooked pasta with the meat sauce. Mix thoroughly.
  6. Layer half the pasta mixture in a baking dish. Top with half the cheese and half the pepperoni.
  7. Repeat the layers with remaining pasta, cheese, and pepperoni.
  8. Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
