Description

A hearty and flavorful dish combining penne pasta with garlic butter ground beef and melted cheese.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
  4. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir well.
  5. Add cooked penne to the skillet. Mix with the beef and garlic butter.
  6. Sprinkle cheddar and parmesan cheese over the pasta. Cover and let melt for 2 minutes.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
