  • 1 cup chicken broth

  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 2 tbsp water (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in the crockpot.
  2. Add mushrooms, onion, and garlic.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream.
  4. Sprinkle thyme, salt, and pepper over the ingredients.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  6. If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix cornstarch and water, then stir into the crockpot during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
  7. Shred or slice the chicken before serving.
