- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta according to package instructions, adding broccoli in the last 3 minutes. Drain.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour to make a roux.
- Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Cook until thickened.
- Add garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the sauce.
- Combine cooked pasta, broccoli, chicken, and sauce in a baking dish.
- Sprinkle cheeses evenly over the top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Notes
- Use leftover or rotisserie chicken for convenience.
- Substitute any pasta shape you prefer.
- Add red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
