A hearty and flavorful chilli made in a crockpot, perfect for a comforting meal.

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 2 tbsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
- Add the diced onion, garlic, and bell pepper to the skillet. Cook until softened.
- Transfer the beef mixture to the crockpot.
- Add the kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, tomato paste, chilli powder, cumin, paprika, salt, black pepper, and beef broth to the crockpot.
- Stir well to combine.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For extra heat, add a chopped jalapeño or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- This chilli can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months.
- Top with shredded cheese, sour cream, or chopped green onions.
