  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 4 cups mashed potatoes
  • 2 cups cranberry sauce
  • 1 lb roasted carrots
  • 1 lb roasted Brussels sprouts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (165°C).
  2. Rinse the turkey and pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. Mix butter, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Rub the butter mixture all over the turkey, including under the skin.
  5. Place onion and garlic inside the turkey cavity.
  6. Place the turkey on a rack in a roasting pan and pour chicken broth into the pan.
  7. Roast the turkey for 3 to 3.5 hours, basting every 30 minutes.
  8. Let the turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving.
  9. Serve with mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, roasted carrots, and Brussels sprouts.
