Ingredients

- 8 cups chicken broth
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 2 celery stalks, chopped
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups egg noodles
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
- Add onions, carrots, and celery. Sauté for 5 minutes.
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Add chicken, salt, pepper, and thyme. Simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in egg noodles and cook for 8 minutes.
- Serve hot.
