Description

A delicious one-pan meal featuring tender steak, creamy cheddar sauce, and penne pasta with Cajun seasoning.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb steak, sliced thin
  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak slices and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic until softened.
  4. Reduce heat to medium and pour in heavy cream. Stir in Cajun seasoning.
  5. Add shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
  6. Return cooked steak and pasta to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
