  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Cook chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add chicken broth, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  7. Return chicken to skillet and coat with sauce.
  8. Sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
