Instructions
- Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels.
- Mix flour, cornstarch, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Whisk egg and ice-cold water in another bowl.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients to make a thin batter.
- Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep pan.
- Dip shrimp in batter and fry until golden, about 2-3 minutes.
- Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.
