Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked red lentils
  • 1 medium sweet potato, mashed
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Boil the red lentils until tender, then drain and set aside.
  2. Peel and boil the sweet potato until soft, then mash it.
  3. Mix the lentils, mashed sweet potato, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Form the mixture into small patties.
  5. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
