  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Brown the chuck steak on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  2. Place the browned steak in the crockpot.
  3. Add the sliced onion and minced garlic on top.
  4. In a bowl, mix beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, paprika, and thyme. Pour over the steak.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
