Description
A classic Dutch green bean casserole with a creamy mushroom sauce and crispy fried onions.
Ingredients

- 500g green beans, trimmed
- 1 can (300g) cream of mushroom soup
- 120ml milk
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 cup crispy fried onions
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 175°C.
- Boil green beans for 5 minutes, then drain.
- Mix mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, and pepper in a bowl.
- Combine green beans with the sauce and pour into a baking dish.
- Bake for 25 minutes.
- Sprinkle fried onions on top and bake for 5 more minutes.
Notes
- Use fresh green beans for best texture.
- Add extra fried onions for more crunch.
