A simple and delicious Dutch meat pie recipe that’s easy to make.
Ingredients

- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 package puff pastry
- 1 egg yolk (for brushing)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, onion, salt, pepper, nutmeg, egg, and breadcrumbs.
- Roll out the puff pastry and line a pie dish with it.
- Spread the meat mixture evenly over the pastry.
- Cover with another layer of puff pastry and seal the edges.
- Brush the top with egg yolk.
- Bake for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
Notes
- You can add herbs like parsley for extra flavor.
- Let the pie cool slightly before slicing.
