- 4 boneless, skinless chicken
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (optional)
Instructions
- Place chicken in the crockpot.
- Add chicken broth, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and paprika.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Shred the chicken with a fork and stir in heavy cream if using.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add vegetables like carrots or potatoes.
- If you prefer a thicker sauce, mix 1 tbsp cornstarch with 2 tbsp water and stir into the crockpot 30 minutes before serving.
