Ingredients

- 1 lb tomatillos, husked and rinsed
- 1/2 cup chopped white onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Boil tomatillos in water for 5 minutes until soft.
- Drain and transfer tomatillos to a blender.
- Add onion, garlic, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and salt.
- Blend until smooth.
- Adjust seasoning if needed.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
- For a milder sauce, remove jalapeño seeds.
- Use fresh tomatillos for best flavor.
