Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a greased baking dish.
  4. Spread marinara sauce evenly over the top.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

  • You can use all ground beef if you prefer.
  • For extra flavor, add 1/2 cup of chopped sun-dried tomatoes.
