Ingredients

- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups seasonal fruits (apples, plums, berries, etc.), sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix flour, sugar, butter, eggs, baking powder, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the batter in a greased cake pan.
- Arrange sliced fruits on top.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden.
- Let cool before serving.

- Dust with powdered sugar before serving if desired.
