Homemade fudge chocolate pastry tarts that taste just like pop tarts. Easy to make and perfect for a sweet treat.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup chocolate fudge filling
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1 tbsp milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
- Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add cold water and mix until dough forms.
- Roll out dough and cut into rectangles.
- Place a spoonful of chocolate fudge filling on half the rectangles.
- Cover with another dough rectangle and seal edges with a fork.
- Brush tops with egg wash.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk for glaze and drizzle over cooled tarts.
Notes
- Chill dough for easier handling.
- Seal edges tightly to prevent filling from leaking.
- Let tarts cool before glazing.
