- 8 oz rigatoni pasta
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
- 3 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook rigatoni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add diced chicken and cook until browned and fully cooked (5-7 minutes). Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir well. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Stir until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
- Add cooked rigatoni and chicken back to the skillet. Toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
- Use freshly grated parmesan for best flavor.
- Adjust red pepper flakes for desired spiciness.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
