Description

A rich and flavorful dish combining tender steak with garlic butter sauce and parmesan-coated rigatoni.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • 8 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook rigatoni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season steak with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook steak for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove and let rest.
  4. In the same pan, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Toss cooked rigatoni in garlic butter. Stir in parmesan.
  6. Slice steak and serve over pasta. Garnish with parsley.

Notes

  • Let steak rest 5 minutes before slicing for juicier results.
  • Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water to adjust sauce consistency if needed.
  • Freshly grated parmesan melts better than pre-shredded.
