  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix cream, egg, vanilla, and lemon zest.
  5. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Stir until just combined.
  6. Gently fold in blueberries.
  7. Turn dough onto a floured surface. Shape into a 1-inch thick circle.
  8. Cut into 8 wedges. Place on baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 18-20 minutes until golden.
  10. Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice for glaze. Drizzle over cooled scones.
