- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Optional toppings: garlic powder, parmesan cheese, sesame seeds
Instructions
- Mix flour, salt, sugar, and yeast in a bowl.
- Add warm water and olive oil. Knead into a smooth dough.
- Let the dough rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll out the dough and cut into heart shapes using a cookie cutter.
- Place on a baking sheet and brush with egg wash.
- Sprinkle with optional toppings if desired.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

- Let the dough rest in a warm place for best results.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
