Instructions
- Sift almond flour and powdered sugar together.
- Whip egg whites with cream of tartar until foamy.
- Gradually add granulated sugar and whip to stiff peaks.
- Fold in dry ingredients and red food coloring.
- Pipe heart shapes onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let rest for 30 minutes to form a skin.
- Bake at 300°F (150°C) for 15-18 minutes.
- Cool completely before filling.
