A delicious Dutch dish combining mashed potatoes, carrots, onions, and beef for a hearty meal.
Ingredients

- 500g potatoes, peeled and diced
- 300g carrots, peeled and sliced
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 300g beef, diced
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil potatoes and carrots in salted water until tender.
- In a separate pan, sauté onions until translucent.
- Add beef to the onions and cook until browned.
- Drain potatoes and carrots, mash them with butter.
- Mix the mashed vegetables with the beef and onions.
- Add beef broth and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
Notes
- Serve hot with a side of pickles or applesauce.
- Leftovers can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days.
