Instructions
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
- Add warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Stir until dough forms.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
- Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Roll dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut into rounds.
- Sprinkle cornmeal on a baking sheet. Place dough rounds on it.
- Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Cook on a griddle over medium heat for 5-7 minutes per side.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
