Ingredients

  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp melted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil, then knead into a dough.
  3. Let the dough rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and roll into ropes.
  5. Tie each rope into a knot and place on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-18 minutes until golden.
  7. Mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, garlic powder, and oregano.
  8. Brush the warm knots with the garlic butter mixture.
  9. Serve immediately.
