- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 4 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Cream butter and sugars until fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, mixing well.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Scoop dough into 1-inch balls and place on the baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes. Let cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Heat heavy cream until simmering. Pour over chopped chocolate, let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
- Drizzle ganache over cooled cookies.
