A simple and flavorful low-carb dish with Mongolian-inspired flavors featuring ground beef and cabbage.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (or coconut aminos for low sodium)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it into small pieces.
- Push beef to one side of the skillet and add garlic, ginger, and cabbage to the other side.
- Sauté cabbage for 3-4 minutes until slightly softened.
- Mix everything together and add soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.
- Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with green onions and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Use coconut aminos for a lower-sodium option.
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less red pepper flakes.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
