- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- In the same pan, add sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Add red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Return shrimp to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
- Add cooked pasta and stir until well combined.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
