Description
A simple and delicious pan-fried salmon with a rich garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Place salmon skin-side down and cook for 4-5 minutes until crispy.
- Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until done.
- Remove salmon and set aside.
- Reduce heat to medium and melt butter in the same pan.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Stir in lemon juice and parsley.
- Pour garlic butter sauce over salmon and serve.
Notes
- Use fresh salmon for best results.
- Adjust cooking time based on thickness of fillets.
- Serve with steamed vegetables or rice.
