- 12 oz pasta shells
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook pasta shells according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Add ground beef, salt, pepper, oregano, and basil. Cook until beef is browned.
- Stir in tomato sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stuff each pasta shell with the beef mixture and arrange in a baking dish.
- Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese over the top.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey for ground beef.
- Add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra flavor.
- Let the dish cool for 5 minutes before serving.
