Ingredients

- 100g powdered sugar
- 75g egg whites (room temperature)
- 90g granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Sift almond flour and powdered sugar together.
- Whip egg whites with salt until foamy. Gradually add granulated sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Fold in vanilla extract and dry ingredients gently.
- Pipe circles onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Let rest for 30 minutes until a skin forms.
- Bake at 150°C (300°F) for 15-18 minutes.
- Cool completely before filling.

- Ensure egg whites are at room temperature for best results.
- Do not overmix the batter to avoid flat macarons.
- Letting the piped macarons rest prevents cracking.
