Description

Ingredients

  • 8 cups popped popcorn
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread popcorn and pecans on the baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, and salt.
  4. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes without stirring.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn and pecans. Toss to coat evenly.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
  7. Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.
