Description
A delicious and easy-to-make dish featuring succulent shrimp in a garlic butter sauce served over pasta with crispy garlic bread on the side.
Ingredients

- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup white wine (optional)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 French baguette, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat 2 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- Deglaze the skillet with white wine (if using) and let it simmer for 1 minute.
- Stir in remaining butter, parsley, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and toss with the sauce.
- For the garlic bread, preheat oven to 375°F. Brush baguette slices with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder. Bake for 5-7 minutes until golden.
- Serve shrimp scampi over pasta with garlic bread on the side.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor.
- Adjust red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.
- Substitute white wine with chicken broth if needed.
