Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained
  • 1 can (15 oz) corn, drained
  • 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chiles
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
  2. Transfer the beef to the slow cooker.
  3. Add onion, bell pepper, black beans, corn, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, beef broth, taco seasoning, cumin, and chili powder.
  4. Stir well to combine.
  5. Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
