Ingredients

  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 150ml warm water
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 200g ground beef
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add warm water and oil, then knead into a smooth dough.
  3. Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
  4. While the dough rises, cook the beef with soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and black pepper.
  5. Divide the dough into small balls and flatten each into a disc.
  6. Place a spoonful of beef filling in the center of each disc.
  7. Pinch the edges to seal the buns.
  8. Steam the buns for 15 minutes over boiling water.
  9. Serve warm.
