Ingredients

- 300g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 150ml warm water
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 200g ground beef
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Mix flour, yeast, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
- Add warm water and oil, then knead into a smooth dough.
- Cover the dough and let it rise for 1 hour.
- While the dough rises, cook the beef with soy sauce, ginger, garlic, and black pepper.
- Divide the dough into small balls and flatten each into a disc.
- Place a spoonful of beef filling in the center of each disc.
- Pinch the edges to seal the buns.
- Steam the buns for 15 minutes over boiling water.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Let the dough rise in a warm place for best results.
- Do not overfill the buns to prevent bursting while steaming.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat before serving.
