- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, undrained
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
- Add eggs and crushed pineapple. Stir until combined. Fold in chopped pecans.
- Pour batter into the pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool completely.
- For the frosting, beat butter and cream cheese until smooth. Add vanilla and powdered sugar. Spread over cooled cake.
