Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1 cup eggnog
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves.
- In another bowl, whisk eggnog, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients. Stir until just mixed.
- Pour batter into the loaf pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before slicing.
Notes
- Use full-fat eggnog for best flavor.
- Check doneness at 50 minutes to avoid overbaking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
