Description

A flavorful and spicy Cajun-style chicken fettuccine with a creamy sauce.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions, then drain.
  2. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until browned and fully cooked, about 6-8 minutes. Remove from skillet.
  4. In the same skillet, sauté bell peppers, onion, and garlic until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir until the sauce thickens slightly.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet and toss with the cooked fettuccine.
  7. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Adjust Cajun seasoning to taste for more or less spice.
  • You can use half-and-half instead of heavy cream for a lighter version.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
